Café Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Café Manager to lead operations at our new café in the Hong Kong Wetland Park. The Nesbitt Centre (https://www.nesbittcentre.org.hk) has been empowering adults with learning disabilities since 1993 through vocational education and inclusive social enterprises. We are about to open a new concept café located inside the Hong Kong Wetland Park, offering beverages, premium & light breakfast and lunch dishes, as well as catering for events with canapés and buffets. We are committed to quality, creativity, and inclusivity. Work Location: The Hong Kong Wetland Park, New Territories, Hong Kong. Cafe Opening Hours: 6 days per week (closed on Tues) 10am - 5pm. Start Date: December 2026 (latest January 2027). Benefits include group medical benefits, paid annual leave, and birthday & other special paid leave.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations, ensuring smooth service and consistent product quality ensuring smooth service and consistent product quality

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer experiences
• Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships
• Uphold hygiene, safety, and compliance standards
• Support event catering operations (canapés, buffets)
• Collaborate with management on marketing and promotional initiatives
• Monitor and drive café sales performance, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of proven experience in managing a café or similar food & beverage outlet
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Service-oriented mindset with attention to detail
• Experience in working with staff with Special Educational Needs (SEN) will be given priority consideration
• Language: Cantonese & Basic English
