About the Role
We're a Hong Kong hospitality tech startup looking for a sharp, creative social media exec to take over our organic channels and make them actually worth following. We're building a bilingual recruitment platform for the food and beverage industry and we need someone who understands both the hospitality world and the social media landscape in Hong Kong. This is initially a 3-month engagement with a view to extending. We're a small team and we move fast, so you'd have a lot of creative freedom and direct access to the founders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow organic social media channels for a bilingual F&B recruitment platform
- Create engaging content in both English and Traditional Chinese across LinkedIn and Instagram
- Develop and execute a content calendar that balances employer branding, candidate engagement, and industry thought leadership
- Design on-brand social assets using Canva or Figma
- Schedule and publish content using social scheduling tools
- Pull and analyze performance metrics from Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Capture photography and short-form video content during venue visits when needed
Requirements
- Strong portfolio of social media work, ideally for F&B brands, lifestyle brands, or recruitment
- Native-level English and professional-level Traditional Chinese (or vice versa)
- Comfortable writing long-form LinkedIn posts and punchy Instagram captions equally well
- Basic design skills in Canva or Figma for creating on-brand social assets
- Experience with social scheduling tools like Later, Planoly, or Buffer
- Comfortable pulling analytics from Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Photography and short-form video skills are a genuine plus
