About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our flagship Central restaurant. You will support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations, oversee mise en place across all stations, and mentor a brigade of eight. This role requires a strong foundation in modern European technique with an appreciation for seasonal Asian ingredients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily mise en place briefings and station allocation. Deputise for the Executive Chef during service and administrative duties. Manage food cost targets and supplier relationships for assigned sections. Train and assess junior chefs on technique, hygiene, and plating standards.
Requirements
- Minimum six years of progressive kitchen experience, including at least two in a sous chef or senior CDP role. Formal culinary qualification preferred. HACCP Level 4 or equivalent food safety certification.
